We work daily with A. Le Coq to ensure that packaging and production are more environmentally friendly and that our ecological footprint is smaller. Since the beginning of 2020, A. Le Coq has been using 100% green electricity. The brewery’s wash water is turned into biogas, which powers Tartu city buses. The remaining beer pulp is used as food for cows, and the packaging is recycled. Even a significant portion of A. Le Coq products are delivered to stores by electric trucks. The results can be measured in saved kilowatts and emissions but are also clearly reflected in awards – A. Le Coq was chosen by the EAS and the Estonian Employers Confederation as the “Most Sustainable Company of 2023”.
